The American boxer only spoke to the press a few times, the rest of the time she chewed on her failures to regain her motivation to return to the ring.

However, 2 months after her loss at the MGM Grand arena, Ronda Rousey agreed to appear before the media on January 23, through the TV show Saturday Night Live.

This is great news for fans of the female fighter who was once known as the “undefeated” fighter of the UFC ring, with 12 consecutive wins. The reason is that with her reappearance in the media, Ronda Rousey seems to have put her shocking loss to Holly Holm behind her.

Previously, she also shared that she would regain her motivation to continue fighting, through an interview with ESPN:

Ronda Rousey said:  “I need to come back. And I definitely need to beat her (Holly Holm). I’m dying to knock her teeth out or break her jaw. I’m going to do it.”

“The Queen of UFC” spoke up to explain her silence in the past:  “When I lost the match, I turned off my phone. I just felt so ashamed. But I told myself: You are fine and need to keep fighting and fighting.”

As scheduled, the rematch between bantamweight champion Holly Holm and former champion Ronda Rousey will take place on July 9, 2016 at the UFC 200 event held at the MGM Grand arena, Las Vegas, USA.
