One of the Siamese Twins Got Pregnant and Gave Birth to a Son: This Is What Their Baby Looks Like

Rosa and Josepha Blažek were born on January 20, 1878 in Bohemia, and from the first second of their appearance, fate wrote a unique and difficult story for them.

Siamese twins, joined at the pelvis, were physically linked to each other forever.

The girls studied music, performed on stage, and toured Europe.

In 1906, while on tour in France, Rose met a man who turned her world upside down – a young officer named Franz. A romance blossomed between them.

Josepha had a hard time accepting this relationship.

She felt like she was out of place, but she couldn’t leave. However, over time, her sister accepted her right to love.

The meetings became regular, and in 1909 France was shocked by a sensation: one of the Siamese twins became pregnant.

Of course, Rosa was considered pregnant, since she was the one in the relationship. But since the sisters’ bodies were joined, Josepha also had to go through everything, from toxicosis to contractions.

On April 16, 1910, a strong, healthy boy was born. He was named Franz, in honor of his father. Fate showed its unusualness here too: both sisters began to have milk, and together they fed the baby, protected him, and raised him.

The sisters returned to the stage again, this time with their son. The number was called “Two Mothers – One Heart”, and the audience received them with admiration and tears in their eyes.

And then illness came. In 1922, Josepha fell ill. Doctors suggested separating the sisters surgically to save Rosa. But she refused without hesitation: “We came into this world together – and we will leave together.”
