From Gentle Moments to Devastating SilenceJust days before the tragedy, Mackenzie Copley, Elizah’s mother, had posted sweet photos of her baby smiling next to the family’s three pit bulls — images filled with warmth, joy, and trust.But on April 9, the unthinkable happened.Elizah was mauled to death by one of the family’s own dogs, leaving Mackenzie and her partner Kameron Turner shattered and searching for answers.
