The driver of a tanker truck for the Agua Potable Express company recklessly hit a young motorcyclist, causing his death. The body was left lying on the side of the Tenango-Toluca highway, about 500 meters from the Metepec bridge heading toward the capital of the State of Mexico.
Realizing his level of responsibility, the driver fled the scene, abandoning his heavy vehicle. Witnesses in the area reported that the young motorcyclist was in his lane when he was unjustly struck by the truck.
They indicated that the driver responsible was likely under the influence of alcohol, which is why he didn’t notice a motorcyclist traveling in his lane. When he hit the motorcyclist, he stopped his vehicle next to the deceased’s body and ran through the streets to avoid being stopped by passersby.
It’s important to note that the company responsible is a Mexican company founded in January 1990 in Toluca. On their website, they boast that, for more than 30 years, they have excelled in supplying drinking and rainwater to companies in various sectors, as well as to homes and small businesses throughout the region.
