
The body of Brisa Izela, a 13-year-old girl who had been reported missing since June 8 in Coahuila, was found in a vacant lot in the Santa María ejido, in the municipality of San Juan de Sabinas.
The discovery was made on a property known as La Minita. The Coahuila State Attorney General’s Office detailed that the investigation was carried out by the Criminal Investigation Agency and supported by a canine team from the state attorney general’s search team, which led to the discovery of the minor.
Brisa Izela was last seen on June 8 at approximately 5:00 p.m., when she left her home with a friend. Her whereabouts have remained unknown since then.
Following the discovery and further investigation, authorities announced the arrest of two people: an adult woman and a man in the state of Nuevo León, a former member of the Nuevo León Civil Force.
