Kian was born in
Sligo , Ireland to Kevin and Patricia. He has three brothers: Tom, Gavin and Colm, and three sisters: Marielle, Vivenne and Fenella. Kian attended Summerhill High School in Sligo. He married actress and singer Jodi Albert on 8 May 2009 in Barbados .
He plays several instruments both in and out of groups, including piano and guitar , and was a former member of Sligo punk rock group Skrod.
He was also in local pop group IOU with Westlife colleagues Shane Filan , Mark Feehily as well as with Graham Keighron, Michael “Miggles” Garrett and Derrick Lacey.
Compared to his brothers in Westlife , Kian Egan does not focus on singing but participates in many reality TV shows. He was a judge on five seasons of The Voice of Ireland . In 2013, Kian won I’m a Celebrity – a reality game show about survival.
A year later, Kian Egan released his solo album Home , which peaked at number two on the Irish music charts. He has also hosted shows such as This Morning, Surprise Surprise, Fat Pets: Slimmer of the Year, and more.
In 2009, Kian married British actress Jodi Albert. The couple has three sons, Koa. Currently, the singer has an extremely happy life with his family.
